The purpose of the KradleKidz Ministry is to minister to infants through three-year old children, by providing a spiritual foundation and spiritual training. Through KradleKidz, we want our children to experience a positive introduction to Christianity and biblical concepts in a nurturing environment. Our ministry consists of Head Teachers, Teachers, and Room Leaders. Each and every one of these individuals is vital to our ministry. We focus on many units throughout the year, ranging from God Made The World and God's House to I Am Special and My Family. Reaching God's little ones for Christ—what an honor to be involved with this ministry!

We Want to Show Your Child
a Jesus-Kind of Loving Care in Baby Church

Your child is welcome in KradleKidz! We believe that your baby's first experiences at church should be happy and secure, so we have developed a very special church nursery where your child will be loved, cared for and taught during Sunday school and worship services.

KradleKidz is a parent co-op ministry. Church members who have children who use the nursery are asked to volunteer for one service a month. Additional members also volunteer their time. They consider this time with your child to be a ministry both to you and to your little one. We wish to join hands with you and share in training your child in God’s love. We hope to help as you lay the foundations of faith and trust which will prepare your child for a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

We recognize the importance of the early years of life when first impressions of church and God are being formed. With your cooperation, our staff will do all it can to make KradleKidz an enjoyable and growing experience for your child. Even the tiniest baby can be exposed to God’s love through the caring touch of Christians who tend to his or her needs!

THE VALUE OF
EARLY TRAINING

I took a piece of clay,
And idly fashioned it one day

And as my fingers pressed it still,
It moved and yielded to my will.

I came again when days were past
The bit of clay was hard at last.
The form I gave it still it bore,
But I could change the form no more.

I came again when years were gone,
It was a man I looked upon.
He still that early impress wore,
And I could change it nevermore.

To help us get to know your child and care for his or her needs:

1. Register your child for each service. Information you provide will help us care for your little one. Please keep your portion of your child's identification label with you at all times. This number will be posted on the Power Point screen if we need to contact you during the service. You will also need this portion of the label in order to pick up your child. If someone else will be picking up your child, please give them the identifying label portion.

2. Fill out a Care Card. The information on this card will allow teachers to care for your child in a way that helps him or her to feel “at home” in the nursery. Update the card as needed to keep us current on caring for your baby. This is especially important if your child develops allergies or other conditions that require special care.

3. Please write your child's name on his or her diaper bag, cup, bottle, pacifier, etc. This will ensure that each child is given his or her own belongings.

4. Don’t hesitate to remind us of your child's special needs. We want each child to feel individually loved – the same way Jesus loves each of us.
